Attention: We currently do not have any materials for building a custom tripod. We will be getting more tubing on the next order from the extruder which will be early 2026. We are also prototyping a carbon fiber tube model tripod that we will be able to build a custom tripod length using carbon fiber tubes as well.

The Original Top Hand height can still be used on bigger game animals but it may seem a touch short when used on a steep hillside or on game larger than North American elk.

Custom Tailored Tripods

Got your cogs turning on a tailor made Top Hand Tripod? Going on a Canada/Alaska Moose or brown bear hunt? Or how about an African Big Game safari? Buffalo hunt anyone? We can build to your specs. Though the Original Tripod can still handle larger game animals like a Canadian moose, some situations may require that your tripod should be taller to handle the specific big game you hunt. We can lengthen the larger tube sections to gain max height, and we make more overlap for the smaller tube sections that are most susceptible under these more extreme conditions. So these custom tripods can weigh slightly more than the Original and will be a couple inches longer when collapsed. We will provide a few suggestions for proper use in these situations. We can also build a shorter, lighter version for medium sized game like deer or antelope. However keep in mind that no Top Hand tripod is recommended to be used to lift a whole big game animal or it's carcass off of the ground for any reason. Any custom tailored tripod stands up under the same Owners Guarantee as an Original Top Hand Tripod.

We can also custom make specialty mounts to attach to your Top Hand Tripod using the Rally Clip for more unique equipment such as a window mount spotting scope head that requires its own special mounting surface, so you can quickly use your same equipment when transitioning to a different aspect of your hunt.  

Engraving

Want a custom engraved name on the head of your Top Hand Tripod? We offer custom engraving. Space is limited, let us know your thoughts and we can try to accommodate. We can place the Patent info on the bottom of the head body so you can use all the area on the top of the body for a name or phrase, even including some logos. All engraving is considered one off and guaranteed best effort. Some restrictions apply.
