We took the hunting tripod to the next level. The Top Hand Tripod makes the reality of the hunt and the harvest more efficient and enjoyable.

A very portable multi-tool of hunting gear that is not your typical tripod. The core concept of the Top Hand is not only for glassing or shooting but it can also assist you in skinning and field processing big game. It is especially useful in doing the gutless method and for solo backcountry hunting. Being compact at only 22" it can stand tall at 67" and it only weighs 2 lbs 8 oz.

What sets the Top Hand Tripod apart from a typical tripod is the rope used with the head that allows you to use the tripod to hold the animals legs while skinning and breaking down your harvest. It promotes a safer and cleaner working environment plus accelerates cooling and makes applying your game bag or meat wrap a cinch while keeping the meat away from ground contamination. No other tripod can have this kind of capability.

The Top Hand Tripod also has an attachment clip that can be used with a spotting scope head for glassing, a V yoke for shooting or with any bolt on tripod accessory out there. This novel clip allows you to quickly switch between any of your tripod accessories in the field. And with a full height leg conjunction using no center column makes this tripod a very stable platform.

Another unique feature of the Top Hand Tripod is the legs can be quickly removed and attached. They not only can be used as trekking poles, but all the components of the Top Hand can be configured for a tarp or tent support when camping out. Or even as a hunting blind!

The Top Hand legs can rotate in any position to near vertical, this also allows you to orbit the head using one leg. So if you want to, you can still have a glassing session even without using a glassing head! This gives you the option to not pack the extra bulk and weight of a glassing head into the backcountry. 

Also, the legs have a preset pivot return point so they won't completely pivot back in when making a move for a shot or repositioning while glassing, yet the legs can still be quickly adjusted for both length and ground position on variable terrain which is most common in hunting scenarios. Legs now come with a carbide tip option. These carbides are a simple solution to a simple problem that can occur whenever glassing on packed snow. Because the tripod is inherently light weight, sometimes the legs can slip when glassing if they are not able to set into the packed snow. The carbides give the legs just enough grip to keep them from inadvertantly sliding. The carbide is set just off center on the leg cap to compensate for the angle of the leg when the tripod is in a typical stance for glassing and the cap is then glued in place. We also offer a trekking pole tip using three of these carbides on each leg cap so there is always a carbide point in contact with the ground when using as a trekking pole on snow and ice.

Watch for our new HandyNet coming soon! It is a Paracord triangle shaped net that hooks onto the largest tubes of the tripod and is able to adjust to whatever angle you have the legs at. The HandyNet is multi-purpose. It wont allow the legs to pivoting out from any angle you want to keep them, and it gives you a nice spot to set any additional spotters, binoculars or other accessories you might have with you in the field so you don't set them on the ground.
