Nobody cares about a Guarantee until they need to use it, right? Well, you're either reading this because you need to use it, or you care. Either way, we will make it right. So what are the Soundness Guarantees?

When we set out to build this tripod we knew we were taking the typical hunting tripod to a whole other level making it a truly versatile hunting tool. This tripod is made in a small shop in a small town out in eastern Colorado using materials mostly sourced in the US and even has some parts machined from recycled materials.

 We strive to mix quality and functionality into all our products, but we can not build caution or common sense into them.

The Top Hand Tripod is a tool. It is designed to be packed with you and used for some aspect of your hunt every day. Knowing that when this tripod is used properly, the parts in any component should not fail if the tripod is used as intended. Understanding the wild environment this tripod will be used in, that time, chance, and accidents happen. 

What is considered intended use is; proper use as it is advertised to be used. This use is limited to one single big game animal quarter at any one time. Although you may think it be capable; No Top Hand Tripod is intended to be used to lift or hold a whole big game animal or it's whole carcass completely off of the ground. Nor should any leg of the tripod be used as a pole vault, catapult, javelin, spear, harpoon, or club unless proven to be in self preservation.

Coupled with designing the tripod so that it can be rebuilt if need be is where the Recon unit steps into the field, and now we can offer essentially the same functionality as an Original unit but at a lower price point for those who are on a budget. See the Recon page for details.

OWNERS GUARANTEE

Replacement: We will replace any of our tripods at any time for a charge not to exceed $99 plus tax and shipping. This means no matter how long you've had your original Top Hand Tripod or where you got it, even if you accidently run it over with your truck, or if you feel you've just plain worn it out, you can replace it at a fraction of the original cost. Also, we are always improving with new concepts and materials so you could even upgrade to the latest and greatest at a generous discount! If you would like a replacement (or for a repair) email us using the "Contact" page in the navigation bar. Please state that you would like us to replace or repair the tripod and please also explain the reason for replacing or if it has become unusable in any way, just tell us what is happening. We will email you with directions to ship us the complete tripod unit, and you will follow the same online instructions below.

Repairs

For a repair, it is the same return protocol as above but we cover the shipping. Use the "contact" page to let us know what's up. Once we receive and inspect the tripod, at our option, we will repair or replace the whole component (example; one complete leg, or a complete head component, excludes the Rally Clip). Any repairs will be done for a cost of $40. If more than one leg or one leg and the head have been damaged beyond repair, we will recommend a complete replacement with a new tripod for $99 plus tax.  If we find fault in the manufacturing of any components, there will be no repair or replacement cost involved.

Online Instructions We will notify you of any repair or replacement charges and once agreed upon you will then be directed to complete an order on the website using a discount code we will provide to adjust the cost, if any, and you will then check out. This is so we can all keep record of the activity. Your replacement or repaired tripod or component will be shipped back to you. (we can also repair or replace any Top Hand Recon Unit)

No liability is assumed for improper or otherwise unintended use of any of our products, nor any repair or replacement liability in asserted defects caused by; modification, unauthorized service, abuse, acts of nature, nor a lost or stolen tripod, nor asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments. 

30 Day Returns

  Species Clause;

It is not recommended to use an Original or Recon Tripod on domestic animals nor any wild game larger than typical size North American Big Game. We can build a tripod to accommodate more height that may be required for some larger big game species. Visit the Custom tripod page.
