24 model Original Hunting Tripod

The 24 model tripod has been the result of many seasons of use and development over the past few years. Earlier models than this have been used in the same way. All of this product development has lead us to the new 25 model but we just don't feel right about grinding up the remaining 24 model tripods we have in stock without giving them a chance to get used in the field. There are only a few left and once they are gone, they're gone but not forgotten. That's right, you can buy one of these Tripods, use it and still take advantage of the trade in offer from the Soundness Guarantee. So use it for at least a year and then you're eligible to trade it in for a new model at a generous discount.

The primary change made to the 25 model was the rope storage system. The 24 used rope cleats similar to how you would tie a boat to a dock using a figure 8 pattern over each leg top. Those rope cleats were changed into a simple spool configuration to wind the rope up onto and no longer requires a figure 8 pattern. This also allowed for 3 new mounting surfaces on the side of the tripod head that can be used for multiple things. See the Original Hunting Tripod page for more details on the 25 model.
